The Trinity Choir shares a unique mix of repertoire, from classical composers, to spirituals, gospel, contemporary and multicultural works. Our choir includes singers of all ages and experience levels who love to rejoice, laugh together and support one another. In addition to our weekly anthems, we prepare special concerts and offerings. Previous projects include Vivaldi’s Gloria and Mozart’s Coronation Mass accompanied by a chamber orchestra, an Ice Cream Social concert of oldies tunes, and a trip to New York City where we performed with choirs from across the country at Avery Fisher Hall. Weekly rehearsals are Wednesdays from 7:30- 9 pm in the sanctuary, from September through May.
We have a strong hand bell tradition at Trinity and our ringers play music in a variety of styles and prepare musical offerings for Sunday services and special community programs during the year. Playing in a hand bell choir requires great teamwork and a good sense of humor, and our ensemble is open to experienced ringers and those trying it for the first time. The Bell Choir rehearses Wednesdays from 6:15-7:15 pm in the sanctuary from September through May.
The Trinity Youth are an important part of our Music Ministry! Youth of all ages from our Sunday School and the community participate in music offerings, particularly on Youth Sundays (second Sunday of the month).
Trinity is offers a children’s choir program, open to youth in the community ages 4-8. Children learn to find their singing voice and will prepare for a community performance in November with the Trinity choir. Rehearsals are Wednesday afternoon. Contact our Director of Music, Julie Hayden, for more information.
Trinity’s weekly community ukulele jam offers players of all levels a chance to practice and learn together! The Ukulele group meets Thursdays at 1:30 pm.
